My work explores themes related to trauma, familial discord, and the cyclical nature of generational trauma, identity, gender, and tradition. I am interested in making paintings that explore complicated emotions that come with grieving the loss of loved ones to addiction and mental illness. I utilize visual motifs, light, spatial orientation, and significant objects in my work to convey a narrative.
